WEEK 1
The site I choose to investigate is on Stanmore Street, London. I use the peephole as a medium where it divides “inside” and “outside” and also gives off a sense of “observing” and at the same time “being observed”.
The first method is observing by taking photos. I took photos every hour starting from 11 AM until around 4 PM and observed for 2 days.
The second one is observing by note-taking and then converting it into a timeline graph.
The last method I use is collecting > sorting > diagramming
I collected all the bills, advertising brochures and bank letters that have been sent to this address (which is an Airbnb place I rented) and then sorted out into two groups; the first group shows a sense of a person and the other shows a sense of a community. Then I put it into a diagram that shows which topic appears and forms the personality of a person or a community.
